worthless posting ahead:

after struggling with too many technical difficulties (many of them canvas-size related, i cant work with those tiny things anymore, and certain things just didntt work when doing them on a larger canvas size.) with my past project which i spent some amount of time on, i decided to drop it. the time wasnt wasted though, i spent that year and a half experimenting more with flash MX than i ever had before, and the knowledge gained is invaluable.

after years of being ignorant of newer versions of flash beyond MX, i finally gave CS3 a spin some months ago. It's 90% worthless (that smoothing bullshit on the brush should have been OPTIONAL and not enforced, so i have to stick with MX for drawing) but what the program can do with filters and things is rather nifty.

so my next film is nothing but a filter fuckfest. it is barely a film at all.

animation for this scene is almost complete, this was a color test (mostly for the face)
loader. this was done almost entirely in MX, save for the slight blur i added in CS3. Ill probably slather on some other filter stuff over top of it.

coming january. and thats a guarantee because i dont have much of a choice. going to be moving out in january with my best bud and getting on with 'real life' affairs and i want this done before then (tom for the love of crumbcake help me out a little bit when this is done haha)
