i was assaulted at 3 30 am this morning. it was a blunt object of some sort, no idea what it was. there was two guys, they came up behind me. i took two hits and then ran like a motherfucker. that was alot of blood, like holy shit. my hair was just soaked.

my brother is coming by right now with his camera to take pics of the 20 staples in my head.

in other news my next film is coming along pretty well!

ill get some more later of the other wound, its more in the back of my head.

they didnt say anything and they didnt try to rob me. infact the other guy didnt even do anything, he just stood there.

could have been a knife/bat/gun etc. could have been worse.

I dont understand why people feel the need to attack people for no reson, teenage boys stab other teenage boys just hanging out talking or pick fights with strangers a group of people stab other people usaly alone for respect What respect is there in out numbering someone and attacking them with a weapon when they are unarmed. Holy shit that's insane. I don't mean to sound rude but to be honest if I was you I'd rather be robbed in addition. Because if I was just assaulted for no reason it would keep me wondering for what it was for. Or maybe not. Anyways good luck recovering psychologically since that's the only way that matters. Wait it's been eight months. Oh well.

Jeez, I know this post is old, but it fucked up.

It's funny, I lived in one of the worst neighborhoods of NYC (in the late 90's), and it still felt safer than a lot of the other places I'd been (i.e. St. Louis ... even Sacremento).

Sounds like you survived :)
